It is confused a bit about the book data, meaning that it does not identify correctly the book name and authors, but I suppose you are working for it, and therefore it will be fixed. Thought it worth mentioning, as I did not see anybody mentioning it before. Really good work, thanks. |

It might be that it uses filenames to guess author and Title from the filenames if meta-information for mobi is not yet supported - you can edit the parameters in the settings to get accurate guesses.

Yes it works!
One step closer to full compatibility. Next step I guess will be to read data from the mobi files and in the end full support to export to mobi! Thanks again! |

I suppose the people working on the tool know about this problem; first priority was certainly the synchronisation with the Cybook, the rest can follow. I am happy the way things are going on, I shall gladly wait a little bit more. Bruno |

I have a problem with 4.130. When I attach the Cybook, Calibre finds the device all right, the icon is shown, but then I get this error message:
Job: **Ottieni la lista dei libri del dispositivo** (in English : Get the device book list) **TypeError**: 'NoneType' object is not iterable **Traceback**: Traceback (most recent call last): File "calibre\gui2\device.pyo", line 20, in run File "calibre\gui2\device.pyo", line 122, in _books File "calibre\devices\usbms\driver.pyo", line 64, in books File "calibre\devices\usbms\driver.pyo", line 225, in book_from_path File "calibre\ebooks\metadata\__init__.pyo", line 24, in authors_to_string TypeError: 'NoneType' object is not iterable Bruno P.S. In the Book list windows, unfortunately, no book is shown Last edited by brudigia; 01-24-2009 at 03:59 AM. Reason: Forgot one thing |

Samme error for me. However when I ask calibre to send an ebook to the Cybook it does, but it puts it in the root folder.

Sending to the internal flash works fine; it puts the book in the 'eBooks' directory and the Cybook picks it up. Sending to the SD card doesn't, it puts the book in the root diir of the card and the Cybook doesn't see it.

Yes, the SD card must have the same directory structure as the main memory, and you can put books, music, fonts and pictures there.

Just downloaded the latest version of Calibre & it doesn't seem to detect the Cybook properly. Both the Cybook and the SD card show up in the Library area but when you try to get the books it displays the following:
Job: **Get list of books on device** **TypeError**: 'NoneType' object is not iterable **Traceback**: Traceback (most recent call last): File "calibre/gui2/device.pyo", line 20, in run File "calibre/gui2/device.pyo", line 122, in _books File "calibre/devices/usbms/driver.pyo", line 64, in books File "calibre/devices/usbms/driver.pyo", line 225, in book_from_path File "calibre/ebooks/metadata/__init__.pyo", line 24, in authors_to_string TypeError: 'NoneType' object is not iterable which was a bit of a blow. However, You can appear to add the books that are in the cybook or it's SD card to the library. regards |
