Nice! Although, The Adventure Collection is a fairly cheap whispersync deal ($8.98 total), so I'm debating a different second choice.

I remember an earlier MR discussion of these two choices and the variation, but as I'm not especially a Holmes fan, I didn't pay much attention.

In this instance, the shorter version has the better narrator - Simon Vance.

Fwiw, another reason to pause before ordering that Adventure Collection is that you may already own several or all of the individual titles. Checking my records, I own most of them as free or super cheap whispersync titles. Might not be as good performances in all cases of course.....

Worse still, books that call themselves "The Ultimate . . ." And it seems like they are usually self-pubs of 50 pages or less, the difficulty of the subject matter being irrelevant: an illustration (a made up one), The Ultimate Book on Subatomic Quantum Mechanics Physics for Nuclear Engineers, 43 pages.

MobileReaders much under age 50 wouldn't remember this show, unless they perhaps saw it in syndication or something. It was a very entertaining show.
