This is further to my posts of last week, where "fetch metadata" was repeatedly frozen, except in debug made on Mac and the latest versions of Calibre and FFF. Now, FFF doesn't freeze, but doesn't recognize any new chapters or new stories at all, regardless of regular or debug mode.

And I told you last week that I cannot troubleshoot that particular problem because it requires login and dracoandginny.com won't let me register an account. I've tried several times and each time it claims I didn't enter the captcha correctly.

I've also found and successfully downloaded other stories from that site; albeit, lower rated to not need login.

So "FFF no longer downloading at all" is an exaggeration. Rather: "cannot download this one story from this one site".

I can't decide what messed up the summary formatting, FFF or Calibre.
Both stories have numbered lists in the summary.

That's calibre 'helping'. If you look at the story summary on the title page FanFicFare generates, it's unchanged.

I don't know how or if it would be possible to get calibre to not do that. Simply skipping the sanitize_comments_html() call that's usually used doesn't help.

From time to time, I like to test my own thoughts on these types of questions before seeing how you answer. Usually, I can't figure it out on my own LOL. In this case, my results are different from yours.

The initial download, I get just one big chunk in the summary (as is the problem mentioned) for BOTH Calibre and FFF Titlepage. I then went into my personal.ini, and changed "keep_summary_html:" from false to true.

When I re-downloaded, in both Calibre and FFF Titlepage, I got the numbered list properly formatted.

***Edit: Oops! The numbered list is ALMOST properly formatted in Calibre. I've got number 3 twice, with the first one further indented and the second one should be number 4. The next one is numbered 5 and indented like the first 3 and the rest are off in the same manner. FFF Titlepage is all right.

Hmmm. My experience was a little different. keep_summary_html:true is the default, so that's what I was using. I saw calibre try to wrap new <ol><li> tags around what it saw as list items.

Yeah, I didn't notice the weird formatting, because I only see about 3 or 4 lines of the summary in Calibre, due to the way I have it set up. Those first few lines were good though. Only when I scrolled down before removing it that I saw how the formatting got wonky...

Hi.
FicBook.net have made some changes and now you can't add or update already added stories.
First change was a while ago, they went from http:// to https://, but all saved stories still updated and it was possible to add new stories by changing links to old format. But recently site switched to new format completely and now http:// links do not work and https:// ones are not recognized as stories.

Here is an example: old way then new

It's not uncommon for sites to make changes periodically. It may be a couple days before I have a chance to look into this.
