Always. My note 3 was purchased specifically to replace my deceased Axim 51v. I have tried many programs and settled on Cool Reader as being the best of the bunch for me.

I bought my iPhone 6 Plus specifically because I wanted a big phone for reading. I read on my iPad at home, but on my phone anywhere else I happen to be.

The size of the iPhone doesn't bother me--I can still carry much smaller purses than when I used to bring along one or two books everywhere I went (and no fear of running out of reading material! )

I don't read on my cell phone, only because instead I will listen to an audiobook if I'm out and about with unexpected free time and no eReader.

I have a flip phone too. I recently upgraded to a better version with a larger screen and both my old phone had and my new one has internet access but I rarely use it due to the screen size.

I've never used my cell phone as an ereader mainly because the screen is too small. The smallest screen I've ever read ebooks on is my old Palm OS PDA (with a screen that is more than twice the size of my current flip phone). While it was not bad to read on, I was glad to have a larger screen when I purchased my first Sony ebook reader.

Until my eyes got worse recently, I often did reading on my Itouch (I have a flip phone) in those little blocks of time you sometimes get while waiting for others. No longer can, so just make certain I always have an audiobook or ereader available.

Every day.

My iPhone is my primary reading device. I first got in to ebooks on my Palm m100 so compared to that the iPhone is heads and tails better!

I have a Amazon Fire phone I love to read on. I read on it for Immersion reading. The screen is really good quality. High PPI and text rendering. I'd say better than some of their tablets. It's small enough I can hold it for hours but has a large enough screen to read comfortably on. It's the perfect phablet for me.

That's why I hate reading on my Samsung tablet... I don't care for a bright screen while reading, I want a good screen, with good contrast that won't burn my eyes... In that respect, I really love the screen on my phone for reading. Except the dimensions...

I'm happy to read on a small device as long as the font and screen are good. I started out ereading on a Casseiopia EM500, and moved to reading on my original iphone (3.5"screen) which I then continued on my 3GS/4S/5S. IN the interim I bought a Sony PRS-650 because it seemed like a good idea at the time. Still have it, battery is still good, hardly ever look at it except to charge it up. Ditto a Kobo Glo then Kobo GloHD. And, I am still reading on my 5S, in Stanza (3.5"), which has yet to be surpassed in terms of how I like to read. In bed, laying on my side, late at night before sleeping, one hand in use.

As always its horses for courses

Never. I often read outside or in public transport, and on bright days, the screen has to be set very bright. I use a phone for communication or information retrieval (public transport departure/arrival times, navigation/location). Reading, especially in bright conditions, drains the battery faster than I'd like. I wouldn't want to have to make a call and then have an empty battery.

The brightness is so irritating to my eyes, especially at the night. I just can't read books with mobiles or tablets for long time.
