I would probably read on my smartphone quite a bit. If I had one. So I read 100% percent of the time on my Nexus 7 tablet instead. It's pretty-much like a phablet; but with no annoying phonecalls or pesky monthly fees.

I've heard nothing but good things about the Nexus 7, particularly the 2013 model.
I never read on my phone. Novels on my Kobo (sometimes gaming pdfs), everything else on my tablets. (Well, tablet. gave away the busted Asus FHD 10 and haven't bought its replacement yet.) |

I occasionally read on my Amazon Fire phone. It's not a bad device to read on. I prefer my eink readers or even my 8" tablet. I normally have a 6" eink reader with me, in addition to the phone. On occasion, I leave the reader at home. Then I will read on my phone.

Never. I don't really use my phone for anything but a phone. I don't even use it for music - I have an iPod Touch and Sansa Clip+ for that. Bigger phones feel uncomfortable to me, so if the screen was big enough for me to want to read on it, it would lose value as a phone.

I rarely read on my phone. Sometimes I use it to look up information.

I never would have thought that I'd read on my phone, I always used to carry a 6" ereader and an old Nokia phone with me. If I needed to use a smart device I also took my LTE tablet with me. This setup worked for two years, but just recently I've finally got a smartphone with a 4,7" screen. Now, when I don't have to travel far, like more than 1 hour on the train, I only carry the phone with me. It's even more convenient than holding an ereader in my hands. For longer travels I prefer going easier on my eyes with the ereader.

On workdays (commuting, lunch). Joining the Galaxy Note 4 Club here. And in the evening at home, weekends, travel, it's Galaxy Tab S2 8 inch. I have a beautiful H2O which is great only that I don't use it anymore...

I couldn't read on my phone even if I wanted to. I have an old school flip phone.

Every day. My PW2 stays at home, but whatever book I'm reading on it, I also have on my phone. Since I prefer Mantano/Bookari to the Kindle app for Android, I just perform a "mental synch" by remembering a key word or phrase in the paragraph where I left off and searching for it on the other device. The screen on my S5 is nice, large, and quite readable. I probably wouldn't want to read on it for hours at a time, but for short bursts, up to a half hour or so, it is wonderful. I like always having a book in my pocket.

I read regularly on my Note 3. It's great when walking the dog, or at night in bed. The Kindle is better for long reads but with my progressives I have to sit upright to really see it, and that can be difficult.
Besides, the Kindle app syncs really quickly. ![]() |
