Wondering what I've just done, LOL. Purchased an open-box, guaranteed working Kobo Aura HD off eBay.

My timing could have been better. I have two extremely busy weeks coming up and have no idea when I'll get to play with it.

And Canada Post now saying Friday, April 29. I'm actually off Friday, except for having to set up the main floor of the library for an event, so maybe I'll have time to play with it then and on Sunday. ETA - I'm now anxious to get it and see if my plugboard for series works.

It's just after 9pm, which means King's Night has kicked off. The band playing on the nearby square have started and one of the cafés around the corner has put big speakers outside.

I'm now waiting for my tea to steep and after that I'm going to curl up in bed, put on my new, noise cancelling headphones (I love them!) and have a movie marathon.

Officially it can be noisy until 1am, experience learns it's usually a lot later before it quiets down. Which is why I took a nice, long nap this afternoon, so I can keep up the movie marathon longer.
