At the top as seen in many reviews, next to the power button.

Well, the flip side is that the CPU is doing work when you dock the cover, every time you dock the cover. It wakes it up if it was sleeping to do it as well. So I wonder how much of a cost that actually is.

My loaner unit arrived. I can't believe anyone thinks this is the best ereader ever. It really isn't. I would rate the following as contenders for the title of "best ereader ever": Kobo Aura H2O Pocketbook Inkpad Kindle Voyage All three are uniquely wonderful in their own way. But the Oasis? It feels like a cut-down Paperwhite. |

Why? For those of us who DO like the shape (for ergonomic reasons) ((Not that I've seen or touched one, mind you)) -- do you dislike anything else? How's the screen compare with the Voyage? (We might as well get lots of data points, from each person who gets a new one.) Last edited by badgoodDeb; 04-29-2016 at 05:13 PM.

Hmmm. Okay. Guess one really needs to hold one, to decide if that's a plus or a minus. But ever since the announcement of the Oasis, I've been noticing the weight of my Voyage. And I took it out of the cover, too, and yet still notice the weight.

The reading device I really wish I had is the Pocketbook Inkpad (8" screen, one-handed, 350 grams). Barring medical issues, I see the problem of a "too heavy" ereader as being a first world problem.

The Voyage weighs less than an average paperback book.
