But I'm not entirely convinced that the title refers to a person (rather than a place).

Though I interpret from the lyrics

And though our dreams have passed away,

that a location can hardly have dreams.

Realizing that with only 2 participants to the game, if I post an invalid submission, all cromag has to do to win the game is to wait 5 days since I'm not allowed to post back-to-back a corrected entry; would editing my invalid post be accepted, and then which timestamp counts?²

That is unless I could rely on the myriad of hidden participants patiently waiting for day 5 to post their entry, coming to my rescue.

Nah, paranoids can't count on anything so just in case I will fallback with:

But there are not just two participants, just two who post more often. I'm now back so it will not be that easy to win. I post when I can, take the lead as often as I can, and hope to be the ultimate winner someday.

To make it easier for me, I'm make a playlist of all of the songs I have in my collection with names. Now I can must more quickly locate the songs I need.

Per the rules:

-- The first name, last name, and first and last name together each count as separate names for this game. The use of one of the names doesn't prevent someone from using one of the others (if someone else uses "Barry Manilow" someone else can use "Barry" and "Manilow" as long as they use a different song).

Per the above, using the three names together doesn't lock of the individual names (unless they, too, have been used), and using the individual names doesn't lock out a combination of the names. As an example:

"Yoko" has been previously used, but not "Yoko Ono", so per the rules it is allowed, but now both "Yoko" and "Yoko Ono" are not available.
