URL's not shown on Ids: since last update?

I use URL's as links under Ids: on the book details panel for anything without an official identifier. For example: uri:http|//example.com

I use it a lot and since I recently upgraded to Calibre 2.55 they're not showing up any more. If I open the same library in an older version of Calibre they're there again.

Is this intentional, a bug or some setting or template that has changed?

Replace the | with : and you should be fine. I can add back support for | in the next release.

Thanks Kovid, if you could that would be great, #identifiers will not allow me to work on anything in bulk that contains more than one colon, so I'd have to do each one manually and I have thousands.
