Change (restore original) serial number

I fixed my brick Kindle 3 Keyboard using the ATK toolkit.
Unfortunately, I have been repaired serial number set 0000 0000 0000 ...
How can I set the initial serial number (printed on the original box from the store)?

Try k3flasher and look for the devid flasher. I think that is the location needed. I don't know the exact format so there might be some experimenting needed. Be sure the numbers are correct before trying the network.

Is some way by edit bin files? I have no linux machine now.

Linux is very easy compared to anything else.
Try a live linux distro. I like sysrescuecd on USB.

You need to have the k3flasher working to read and write the firmware.
I haven't used that for a while and not for the dev id.
I think a plain text exitor will work.

Edit1: Now I am sure you are right about needing a binary file editor or hex editor because the devid.img file is binary. There are many ways to edit the file. I haven't really tried so you need to experiment.
