All of the 15 free eBooks from HarperVoyager have been converted with Calibre (from the original ePub) and watermarks added to them. I do not know if the images are also watermarked.

I haven't pulled mine into Calibre yet, are the watermarks intrusive or just something hidden away and safely ignored?

I opened one book in iBooks to check the formatting and I didn't see the watermark at all. I haven't looked at them elsewhere yet.

I know these books were free, but I rather dislike them having been converted. I don't mind if they had some of the files replaced with ones that have the watermarks, but to change things in the book is wrong.

If the only change is the watermark, why does it bother you?

BTW I am not sure I understand the purpose of this site instafreebie that gives a lot of freebies, though apparently very variable in value.
