Is MrMyDaughterFramed renting or an owner? Especially if he is only renting, it can be useful if the police know of the screaming on the phone occurrences, as that is breaking the peace. I personally hate to call them about stuff like that, but in my neighborhood, enough people did (and about the person also reputedly selling dope to cars driving by on the street, though I don't know how they proved that) that eventually the condo association kicked him out. They refused to let his owner rent to him any more. So now we have new renters (not owners, but at least new renters).

Not sure how you can manager that without a condo association, nor if he actually owns the place. AND it took about a year or more. But if any of that helps .....

Oh, I should say, I don't know if he rents or owns. There definitely isn't a condo association. This is a middle-middle/lower-middle neighborhood of single-family mid-centuryish houses. It was the first subdivision of New Orleans built with cars in mind in the late 1920s. There is actually a school down the street, too, so I don't know how he can live there.

Being in frigid Wisconsin, they usually happen in the summer. Maybe all of the organizers have died off by now.

Is it more than either 100 yards or 1000 feet from his house? I have forgotten the exact limits but I know it is one of those two.

Now on my ex, pretty sure he is guilty since he has changed his story on why he pleaded guilty 5 times.
Yes, he was already very much an ex when he committed the crimes he was convicted of.
He is lucky there are statutes of limitations. Otherwise, he could have been looking at additional charges. I was told by the investigators to please call the local district attorney and find out the statute of limitations on "rape of a minor".
The statute on contributing to the delinquency of minors had long since expired.
If someone is indicted on a sex crime, the investigators can call your ex.

PS: I was 17 and he was 23 when we got married.
Can we say prior experience with minors?

I suspect it's well-nigh impossible to avoid living near sex offenders. I've checked the Virginia State Police Sex Offender Registry from time to time and I don't believe we've ever lived very far from one. Just take solace in in that you know who to be wary of and who not to let babysit. Like rattlesnakes, it's the ones you don't see that are dangerous.

I just checked. There are currently 108 registered sex offenders in my zip code alone.

Let's just say the experience of being interviewed over the phone (don't know if I would want to do that in person) gave me an entirely new respect for victims of any sex crimes.
Also still very pissed my ex turned me into a victim.

No this will be an oy vey. When I finally confronted the ex and told him about the "rape of a minor", he said "it can't be rape, your father gave permission."

My father gave permission for me to spend the night at his house. Two other friends both younger than me also had their parents permission. None of the parents knew alcohol would be there.
Well my father might have but he only cared about my drinking if some of his friends that didn't drink were around.
Note: my ex looked like the boy next door, etc.

Good grief, I was safer when I shared an apartment with 3 guys. No one got within 3 feet of me without my permission.
