does it actuallly parse alot of articles on the web? and make them readable

pocket struggles for many website on the kobo series
so wondering if kindle will fair better

i have tried the same websites and used the ios kindle app to check and they do work, so considering the actual e-reader

Are you talking about using the Send to Kindle app/plugin? If so, I've found that they look ok--Pocket seems to format a little bit better for my Kobo, but as you said, there seems to be quite a few websites that Pocket doesn't work with at all. So, Pocket for Kobo looks better, but there's more selection with Send to Kindle.

If you use Instapaper, you also have the option of having them send a digest of saved articles to your Kindle either automatically or manually whenever you want. It's extremely useful.

I save everything I want to read/watch later to Instapaper, get through the short articles and videos on my iPad and then send the rest to my Kindle for the evening. It's an excellent system.

I agree, Instapaper is by far the easiest way to get articles to the kindle (I have mine sent anytime I add a few articles to my feed), but the parsing for kindle leaves something to be desired IMO. I find that articles with pictures generally get a bunch of "image not found" placeholders and I end up back on the phone to read articles. For articles that are heavy text, it's great.

For sure! I tend to keep the image-heavy articles for iPad reading for that exact reason.

I also wish that highlights could somehow be synced as Instapaper notes, but of course that isn't possible without a native integration. Maybe some day.
