$400 Canadian, wow that is expensive. I don't like the look of it, and I'm a bit surprised there's no branding on the front like "kindle" or "amazon". I'm happy with my Voyage.

But they have a nice ereader with an SD slot out right now. So...it's irrelevant if they offer a new one without that. I'll just get the current H2O if that happens. Or, you know, there are several nice Android based ereaders with an SD slot.

No branding because you turn it upside down to switch left to right hand. An upside down logo would be jarring to some.

The no-branding at the front is, for me, the *only* good feature of the Oasis, they've only done it because otherwise it will look really weird when you flip it to hold with the other hand

If people don't like the new design that is more than fair enough, but can they please stop claiming that the design is not ergonomic, the asymmetric design will put most of the weight in the hand that is holding the device rather than spreading it out from there like all other ereaders.
