Is the "Kobo N416" the original Kobo device? If so, I haven't seen an image for one.

I have a nonfunctioning N647 which apparently fell victim to the error from the update.

Might I trouble you for a copy of the image? I have already pulled the internal SD card.

MBarlow: Which version of the WiFi? There are three. The model number should be on the end of the device. It could be N647, N647B or N289. You need the correct image to get it working.

I also have a kobo n289, with upgrade woes. I need the firmware for it, if someone could send that to me it would be much appreciated. I think I need the image file to get my n289 back to a usable format. Right now I have no books and can't sync via wifi or on the desktop software. A procedure would also be helpful.

I bought from ebay ( NY to Turkey ) and honestly I want to repair it to use.
Can anyone send me the SD image or something else to fix it?
