Does anyone know what happens if you use a code and there's $5 in your account - does the $5 come off first and then the code is applied to the remainder.

Or is it the other way around - the code comes off and then the $5.

Code comes off first and then the $5. That's how I still have 21 cents to spend after using a 20% off code on a $5.99 ebook.

I didn't buy anything from the sale lists, but I did take advantage of the 5x super points bonus (10x for VIPs) to buy some more non-discountable books that have been on my wishlist for ages. I hope 5x bonus days will become a regular thing.

I've got advantage of the 5x points (I wanted the book) and, later, Kobo has sent me a mail saying me that they have given me 5$ (no referral at that account)

Does anyone know how price matching is supposed to work with tax? They don't seem to have refunded the tax when I tried price matching. I seem to have ended up spending more on wasted tax as I earned from getting 10% off Amazon's price.

Does the credit only work for a single book? Can I use it to buy, say, a few 99c titles instead?

The theory is that it will remain in your account, minus the amounts you spend, until you use it all.

I've used it on multiple books and applied multiple coupons.

The un-used balance is showing in my account currently, but I wouldn't be surprised if it is gone when the promotion ends on April 18th, or whenever KOBO gets around to it. I'm hoping for the later

Only my NZ accounts have the $5 credit. My other accounts (including US and AU) don't have any.

I think they're choosing accounts where you have purchased something but not in a long time.
