Yes. For me it is too much worry to wait until something is free to purchase. If I want it now, I am going to get it now - if it is not free to buy it just gets borrowed. When I look at library books I will usually filter out any books that have a waiting list and see if I can borrow one right away. The Kindle lending library overlaps with KU to some extend. So I usually don't look at that - the terms of KU suit me better. Won't strip DRM from KLL, just the Kindle First books that you get to keep and don't cost anything extra. |

How very odd! The "back" button works just fine in the iOS Kindle App. Removing such a useful navigational tool from the Android App seems like a very strange decision.

That's really strange. It works just fine on both K4PC and the iOS app. Goodness knows why they'd remove it from the Android/Fire versions of the app. It's a decision that seems to make no sense.

I think it's because of what I said above and they couldn't figure out how to fix it. Either way you lose your place in the book. | |

The Kindle's "back" button works on your reading history, not per book, so if you're reading book A, go to the home page and open book B, then select a hyperlink in book B to view a footnote, tapping the back button once will take you back to where you tapped the hyperlink from, and tapping back again will take you back to book A.
