You are right and wrong. There are several Voyagers on Amazon although none are ereaders.

Sold by Amazon is not the same as released by Amazon. It's unlikely Amazon would realease two products with such confusingly similar names.
But considering how easily people want to call the thing Voyager, Amazon should probably just change the thing's name.

I think there's a small chance (p < 0.1) we'll see a Voyage 2 this spring.

But as others point out, it's really not clear what hardware features could trigger a significant flow of upgrades, at least from myself (from my PW3). I'm not interested in a bigger screen, waterproofing, am not a big fan of front-light (would almost rather have 'unadulterated' screen without any extra layers), the current generation is fast enough, battery life is fine, etc.

I do have a 'trade in' Kindle ready in case Amazon manages to surprise us.

No voyage is common. The Voyage is not.
If one capitalizes then it reverts to Voyager. And we had this discussion before when you called out another poster who was on a smartphone.

That depends on region and time period.

In North America the Plymouth Voyager vans made from 1974 to 2000 and the Kawasaki Voyager motorcycles made from 1983 through 1993 have made the word voyager more common than the word voyage.

Some of those vehicles are still on the road. Particularly the motorcycles.

Have to agree with Cinisajoy, as this is what happens to me. I have to be very careful when posting to this forum and mentioning "Voyage" on my iPad. Auto correct always changes "Voyage" to "Voyager". With the frequency that people refer to "Voyagers" on this forum, I have to think this happens to more folks than just me and Cinisajoy.

Voyager was also the name of the probes that went to Saturn in 1977.

HarryT is partially right.
As a noun voyage is more common.
But as a proper name Voyager is more common.
Oh and if your autocorrect has a checkmark, tap it and it will remember Voyage.

If the old one still works, I'll use it. I might just buy another type later depending on need.

I've been using an Acer A500 wifi 4.1 Android tablet for over 3 years. I can still read on it, and it will play MLB. It's a large tablet, heavy and I don't like the reflective screen during the day.

I far prefer the old Nook Wifi to the Kobo Glo, except the Nook is buggered and there is no straight replacement except used.
