Paper Gods is the fourteenth studio album from British new wave band Duran Duran on Warner Bros. Records. The record was announced on 15 June 2015 via an official press release posted on their website, confirming a scheduled world-wide release date of 11 September 2015. The record was produced by Mr Hudson and Joshua Blair, who has worked with the band on All You Need Is Now and A Diamond in the Mind; Nile Rodgers, who had previously first worked on the band's "The Reflex", his remixed version reaching number 1, "The Wild Boys" single and Notorious album, and Mark Ronson, who produced All You Need Is Now. The first single, "Pressure Off", features vocals from American singer Janelle Monáe.

I'm not trying to disparage your post with the following comments--I really do appreciate your post. I downloaded the album.

I have been a fan of Duran Duran since way back in the early 1980's when they had a string of great hits. Unfortunately, they have failed to reach that level of success again.

This album, their most recent one (studio album, at least) is a case in point, in my opinion. It was released over half a year ago. While the album itself has been quite successful in a few countries, I don't think that a single from the album has even charted in the U.K. (where Duran Duran is from) and I think that the only single that was released in the U.S. is "Pressure Off." It has failed to chart in the U.S. I haven't finished listening to all of the album, and I'm nowhere even close to being an expert on music, so I don't know what issue(s) might be keeping it from being more successful.

Perhaps Duran Duran and/or their record label is trying to breathe new life into the album by offering the album as a freebie for a period of time. As a fan of Duran Duran, I hope that that helps them and their album.

It's the least that I could do since I committed the faux pas with the Mendelssohn post.

I just checked and I still get the error code when I try to open the Mendelssohn file. It's probably useless to check anymore until it's Monday in the U.K.

Glad you didn't have any trouble. Koland did and I did. I assumed that there was some problem on the website's end. I still think that something must not be right in order for both of us to have trouble playing it.

The faux pas was my not checking the file after downloading it, to see if it worked. I just got lazy, and I got caught.

On a 64-bit laptop running Windows 7 and the Mozilla Firefox browser and No-Script 2.9.0.10, I:

• Selected "Temporarily allow all this page" in NoScript
• Logged into my Classical-music.com account
• Refreshed the page, which made a red "Download" banner appear on the album cover
• Single-clicked on the "Download" banner (which had the same effect as when I double-clicked on the banner) - a pop-up screen allowed me to choose which program to open the file with or the location where I wanted to download the file
• I also right-clicked on the "Download" banner to see what would happen, and that action gave me the option to "Save link as"

Sometimes, I've noticed, when I click or double-click on music files I want to download, another browser window will open and the file will start playing. If that happens for you, then you might want to use a streaming audio catcher tool to grab the music file.
