Here's a new story about Amazon closing an account where the person had a balance on his gift card that will be lost. I wouldn't have thought that a gift card balance would be forfeit, so if you ever receive a response you can add that to the list of questions. Remember that Paul did not want any discussion on why a person's account was closed in this thread. I am linking to it because of the gift card issue. http://www.theguardian.com/money/201...credit-balance |

Here is the Same person ... http://www.msn.com/en-us/money/techn...DDW?li=BBnbfcL In an update, Do said his account and that of his wife was subsequently canceled after she returned a bicycle purchased in her account. “All open orders were canceled, I just could access digital content purchased in the account. I had over $100 in my gift card balance and Amazon agreed to send me the refund, I received a check in my mailbox after 1 week,” wrote Do, who calculated that his rate of return for Amazon is about 17% — ordering 104 items and returning 18. |

In the Same article I posted.... Ultimately, he said, the account was reopened after he sent a letter to an Amazon account specialist pleading his case. Several readers responded with “banned” stories of their own, along with some sellers who complained of the difficulty of dealing with repeat returners. Note Amazon Re-Opened his Account. |

Maybe Your Link is too New ... Amazon just closed his account. He jumped on the News 15 mins of fame. The other guy Do waited to see what would happen got his refund. Do also got his account re-opened.... Wish they Report HOW. Now that Would be useful. All Current Closure say they still had their Digital Content...but no CS Which is Why I wanted ALL my Amazon Movies backed up on the Fire. IF I ever get the stupid thing to work right & why I got 128 gig SDCard. [ok that's another thread] |
