I really don't think I can complain about the cold after reading pshrynk's posts. Much colder where he is, and the atmosphere is going to crystallize and fall out of the sky.

and that can't be good.

not to upset you lot in your frozen hinterlands, but i was starting to feel a bit chilly so i got up to check the heater and realised i had completely forgotten to turn it back up when i got up this morning. it's not nearly as cold here as it was last week.

I want to remove all those people that don't keep to the speed limit in rush hour! Especially those that will drive 20km/h too slow (on a 80km/h road). And shovels shouldn't even be allowed on the road at all (especially on a rush hour). They cost me 15 minutes driving to work! (45 minutes instead of 30, on a day that is the quietest day of the week!)

And this wasn't the first day this week...


I need a holiday...

I dunno. With the "snow every second or third day" policy we've had lately, snowplows are VERY welcome on the road around here, thank you. It's when you have to go to work BEFORE any plows have been around, that it really gets gnarly. But I could do with a holiday too.......

unbelievable. i heard on the radio that some banks are not happy because the government told them, if they want government assistance because of the economic crisis, they have to give up their end-of-year bonus. but they want to keep both. i guess those secondary (and tertiary, and...) residences are expensive to keep up. meanwhile the rest of us are going to be counting pennies and buying the generic yoghurt to save money. i'm just counting the days until the revolution comes and we can shoot jackals like that.
