I'm so glad you're doing better. I've really avoided anything serious this winter, except for a mild cold after the week of curling in Las Vegas. Easy to understand where that one came from.

I'm off to see if the local BC Liquor store has a bottle of Talisker 10 Yr. in stock. Their app claims they do, and I know there's none on the Coast, so today is a good day to take advantage of that.

I so miss being able to drink those! I used to scoff at those with "red wine headaches", but karma came home to roost. Sigh. Happy anniversary!

A large mug of Assam Golden Tips this morning. Probably should have some milk in it, but I kind of enjoy the astringency this morning. Running way behind, getting organized from being gone to the office for 3 days. But it's GOOD to be home!

Thanks.

Funnily enough, I'm the other way round. Not only did I used to get red wine headaches, I also had a very weird phenomenon where if I drank too much red, I got a vertical line down my face, one side white, the other side red. That, however, has completely passed, and now I can drink any amount and feel fine.

Red wine in my glass .
