Kindle firmware version 5.7.3 - Page 4

I think I've found something new:
- open a book
- change your position in the book many times (using the Go-to menu)
- scroll from bottom to top to display the mini-view
Look at the bottom, there's an arrow on the left with a page number. Tap on it to jump to that page. There's now an arrow on the right too with the previous page number.

I think it's new. Maybe I'm wrong.

I just upgraded my Voyage and I see only one visible difference.

The message in "Time to read" is:
- on 5.7.2.1: "Time left in chapter: 5 m"
- on 5.7.3: "Time left in chapter: 5 mins"

The language on my Kindles is English UK if it matters.

Updated my Voyage from 5.7.2.1 to 5.7.3. No problems. Vroo's right about the change in the wording of the reading time indicator: now says "hrs" and "mins", rather than "h" and "m" as before.

Huh. Mine has always had mins. I am in the US if that matters. I double checked with some older screenshots I took a while back for other reasons.

What firmware version are you using? It changed from "mins" to "m" in 5.7.2, and now it's changed back again. (With UK English, at least.)

I am on 5.7.3 now. Screenshots I looked at pretty sure by date are from 5.7.2. I just don't recall it ever saying just m. I use the time left feature most often out of all the selections.

Another jailbroken Voyage here. Everything seems fine. Haven't noticed any differences from 5.7.2.1

Upgraded on Tuesday, no apparent change that I can tell.

As far as I can tell there are few, if any, noticeable changes as far as what is displayed on the screens. There are a few who have a warm fuzzy feeling that Bookerly was somehow magically darkened, but I see absolutely no change to Bookerly at all when I look at the screen nor when I take screen captures. Perception can be deceiving as people often see what they want to see. This appears to be a very minor, under the hood update.

Upgraded my Voyage to 5.7.3 (from 5.7.2.1).

I see no noticeable change in any of the fonts or any operational change whatsoever, except for the brief flashing message that the world will end in 3 more days.

Nothing magically. It did darken between 2 updates. Its not in my head. My eyes are very sensitive to such things and I notice.

But like I said before, it was not between 3.7.2 and 3.7.3. It happened with the initial update that gave us the home view. Can't recall what that number was now.

I notice no difference between 3.7.3 and 3.7.2.1

Anyone that has the Paperwhite (6th generation) and has updated have you had any screen on/off issues? My sister says her kindle is randomly turning the screen off while she's reading. She has just recently updated to 5.7.3
