Hello, I am not able to uninstall this hack on PW3 5.7.2.1.
Installed when I was on 5.6.5, it survived the upgrade. Any idea? |

No it didn't survive the upgrade, that is categorically impossible...
Upgrades overwrite the rootfs, leaving nothing left of the hack except the resources folders in the userstore. |

Yes they survived. **This hack** installs stuff to the rootfs. When you upgraded to 5.7.2.1 the device partition was overwritten. NOTHING survives that. Once again, what makes you think the fonthack is still installed? ... Yes, if you install the hack you should then be able to uninstall it. |

I have listed in KUAL Font Overrides & Fonts.
This is also maybe the reason why uninstall doesn't work? Should I try to install again, then uninstall? |

The KUAL entry merely means there is an existing extensions folder. The hack itself is still broken and needs to be reinstalled (or you can simply delete the orphaned extensions folder).

"On the PW2, you'll need KUAL 2.3 (barring that, a recent enough snapshot).
" It would have saved me a lot of trouble if you had put this in the beginning not in the end when I was done installing kual and everything else and realizing that the fonts are not appearing in the font menu. So, my question is how do i uninstall kual 2.6 because I have no fonts with this version. |

Oh, and I looked for your Kual 2.3 and found it on baduu, and yes installed it over kual 2.6, and it did change the version, but i can't find the helper anywhere, so it's pretty much useless because the current version of the helper is apparently not compatible with the kual 2.3. I would appreciate your input on this , because even removing and then jailbreaking my kindle again would not help at all because kual 2.3 and the helper for this version are nowhere to be found.

The fonts are not meant to appear in the fonts menu.
This is actually specified in the beginning. ![]() Quote:
That should read "KUAL 2.3 or later". 2.6 is definitely newer than 2.3 |

A crap, I could swear I have seen that it said about the fonts being on the menu somewhere. Alright, I will try overriding the old fonts. But this means if i wanted some more fonts like 10, i can't put them all, cause i read that we can't override all of them.
