Disney is buying up everything. They own Marvel, Star Wars, The Muppets, Pixar, and, of course, ABC TV. So, crossing of the various of these companies holdings is inevitable, especially considering that this has been happening in Marvel for decades. Indiana Jones and the Fantastic Four in the Galaxy of the Force, anyone? | |

Today's New York Times: J.K. Rowling Just Can’t Let Harry Potter Go - the article describes those who can't get enough and those who think Rowling should move on. I'm in the JKR needs to shut up category, myself. Reading that she tweeted last month to apologize for killing off Lupin is tedious in the extreme. People still take these witterings seriously? But according to the article, the play is sold out for the next year sight unseen, so I suspect I'm in the minority. |

My gripe with JKR is that even though we have seen more HP writings, none of it is really new. It's all her either very slightly flushing out the existing books or wishful re-writings of the books. Put out something new in the series, or move on. Let Pottermore be what it is, a way to explore the books with a bit more depth. Remember, she did not write this play. Though I believe they did need to get her consent for it. |

Rowling should have the decency to shut up already. Word Of God pronouncements tend to be better accepted by authors who aren't being schizophrenic about whether or not they have ended the story. ... If you want more Harry Potter, there is quite a bit of fanfiction out there, some of it actually well-written, consistent, and TBH of superior quality. |

Same here. I am the biggest fan of Harry potter. Never missed a single movie scene of all the parts till now. I hope i will ever get a chance to watch it as a stage show live. Thumbs up. |
