Ah, but when they open their spanking new website and discover that the the hackability index has gone through the roof and all their links now go to porn sites featuring the French First Lady and some llamas, they'll be hammering at your door with fists stuffed full of wadded up Euros, begging you to help them, at which time you put on "that smile" and show them the bone chilling price list for "added features..."

Hm. Should I tempt you, or offer condolences?

The other night I was advising my brother to find and hang up his punching bag for those special moments.

Sounds like what you really need are some new clients, however. Want to send me your resume? We might have some web design stuff here, though you'd have to work around Drupal. But CSS is CSS. And we do pay on time.

if you're serious, then yes, i'll send you my cv. actually i'll send you a link to my website, which has my cv on it. also i'm very tempted by the punching bag solution.

yes, i believe that is the solution, indeed. sadly i've found that quite a lot of clients turn out to be jackasses (although i do have a few nice ones in the lot, thank god). sometimes webdesigners don't get much respect : some people seem to think we're just having fun playing with colours and such, because we're too lazy (or something) to get a "real" job.
