I like the blue! I ordered a clear plastic shell, to let my orange show through. My birthday isn't for three weeks, but I have a feeling I am going to open the box early, just to admire the color.

The orange is a fabulous shade; I gave one at Christmas. I couldn't resist this price, but I got the blue one as I'm not really an orange type. Could you post a link to your clear shell? I've been looking at cases, but I'm not sold on anything I've seen.

I love blue and my birthday is a month away, but I'm sure I will open the box IMMEDIATELY. I prefer a hard case with a front cover that folds back so I ordered the Sky Blue on ebay here link for $8.90 with free shipping. It takes 8 - 20 days from China but I'm in no hurry. Amazon notified me that my Fire has shipped and will be delivered in one week. But I find the packages usually arrive a day or two earlier than the estimate.

I have a bright orange cover for my Kobo and a red-orange Chromebook with matching acrylic protective case so those colors are already well represented in my tech toys! Hope you all enjoy yours as much as I do.

That is a beautiful case.

My Fire 8 is here. Waiting for hubby and MIL to leave the house this afternoon, so I can have a look

Got a look at it, so far, I like it. I didn't turn it on yet.

Amazon appears to have completely sold out of the Tangerine Fire HD8. The color square is not even showing on the product page. It must be the most popular color!

I noticed yesterday afternoon they had the tangerine available in the 8gb edition, but it listed "2 left, and more on the way". I guess they sold out later in the day.
