What? -- SYNC is a free summer audiobook program for teens 13+. Running May 5th - August 17th, 2016, SYNC will give away two complete audiobook downloads a week (30 titles) - pairs of high-interest titles, based on weekly themes. In 2014, 26 titles were given away over 13 weeks. In 2015, 28 titles were given away over 14 weeks.

Why? -- SYNC is dedicated to introducing the listening experience to the teen audience and demonstrates that Required Reading can be completed by listening.

Who? -- SYNC is sponsored by AudioFile Magazine and titles are delivered through the OverDrive app. Download the app in advance to whichever device you anticipate listening on and be ready to go!

Interesting list. Not that much here that fires my imagination, unlike previous years. I can't see the last week for some reason, but assuming it is much like the rest then I find it interesting that we have more books than previous years, the total hours will be fewer.

The audio is an episode from the radio series X Minus One and can be found here (episode 55) for those wishing not to signup with Wildside. It was originally broadcast on 12 Jun 1956 and runs 23 minutes.

You mean you don't get the drop down browse menu (see attached)? Very odd. I recently canceled a 3 month $.99 a month trial deal (and have canceled other trials in the past) and have never had a problem getting the browse menu.

I get the drop down menu, but it disappears immediately after I open it. No time to click any links. I've never had this problem after cancelling other trial periods. This is the first time it's happened to me.

Yep, Audible's sales are super secret; heaven forbid a non-member should find out about them
