Update on "get $10 offer"

I recommended a few friends who made a new account and purchased through the email link. I tried chrome and explorer as browsers. I did not receive the promised the credit. Very frustrating but not surprising.

I recently did the new (or at least sort of new, from late January) survey, since I had a fairly inexpensive book that I wanted to buy, and 25% off would be better than nothing.

The survey code I got was 25OFFQ4, which is sort of similar to the previous survey code 25OFFQ3, which is no longer working for me. No idea how long this one will be good, but maybe it should go into the first post. Oh, and it's 25% off, as implied, although with Kobo, you can't always count on any logic

I had 2 friends purchase and both times I had to have followup before I received the credit but eventually I did get it both times.

I recently purchased the VIP membership using the 50% off code (thanks to a wonderful mobilereads member) was wondering according to the membership benefits page it list that you get a free book, how does this happen do they send you a code? is there a page I need to visit to select from? I've not received any details from them about it.

Check your spam folder (that's where my email from them ended up). They send you a code and then you get to pick a book from the list they have. It changes.
