What firmware version are you running?

(home -> menu -> settings -> menu -> device info)
You can answer both questions from the device info panel.

You model number is embedded in the first 4 or 6 characters of your serial number (do not post the entire number only the first 8 characters)

The firmware version number is clearly labeled.

yes I attempted ;fc-cache in the search bar and every option I could think of without any result

I have a G090 G105 with 5.6.5 and for no reason I can't pass JB strating, search for ;fc-cache even if I enter it and press return in the search bar :/
any ideas ?

To recap Idid the JB once but as I had special deals I've done a reset before I remove theses ones. The probleme is that now I can't remake the JB, even if do the exactly same thing as before, after connecting to kindlefere.com/jb, agree, do stage 1, went back, do stage 2 and I got the message JB starting then the message where I have to search ;fc-cache but when I press return: nothing happen, even if I search for it more times, I think it's like if it was missing from my PW... the first time (before the reset) it worked perfectly nut now it's different... :/

If you can help me I'll be thankful

PS;I didn't uderstood well waht you were saying, my english vocabulary is a bit light

Ok my bad ^^' if we did all the steps and reset our kindle, we just have to redo : Set airplane mode back on when finished.

And it will magicaly appear that it work perfectly, 8 hours losed but... I come out with the solution just throw all logics away and believe it work magicaly

I can't see over your shoulder, so I can't say what is wrong.

But note that you are 1 failure in many thousands of successes.
(everyone else that reported trouble eventually succeeded)

Check carefully what you are doing.
Perhaps change the locale to English.

Only avoid Wifi until you are ready for the update to 5.7.2.1

Your jailbreak will survive the update, all other add-ins (other than KUAL and KUAL extensions) will have to be re-installed.
Same-Same as always.

You have to use the KUAL extension MrPI to install our add-ins now that your on 5.6 (or 5.7) firmware.

Not by itself.

It does allow installing add-ins which give the owner 'root' (administrator) access.
It does not put any limits on the things an owner with administrative access might do to the system.

Translation:
It is possible for the owner to 'brick' the device, but that isn't the fault of the jailbreak, it is the fault of the owner.
