Same fitting all table/floor lamps have I think. LED, halogen and CFL bulbs fit but do not light when the switch is turned on. Only incandescent bulbs work. Voltage issue?

Maybe even simpler - possibly an unusual (slightly out of spec) long socket depth. You could try if that is the issue with one of those adaptors that screw in socket, have outlets on the side and then have another socket at the end. If only incandescent bulbs work with the adaptor inbetween, then it is an energy supply problem. If no bulb works then it is the socket depth. Make sure to test the adaptor first with a light that does light up cfl or leds.

Generally only if you have dimmer switches, Do you don't have dimmers everywhere?

Failing that it's possible the connectors are not quite touching (Unlikely if it is all lamps though).

Yeah, we heard rumors, but no guarantees or other details on the s7. She did get a phone (the Note 5, because she wanted the bigger screen) but she has a 14 day return/90 exchange period so she's deciding how important the sd card is to her.) She can switch to the s7 if she wants to, if it does indeed come out as expected.

Do those lamp use some sort of fancy switching?
The only non-dimmer related LED incompatibility I've run into is with my touch-sensitive 3-way torchiere. I tried one of the very few availale 3-way LED bulbs and it simply would not work. I'm assuming the issue is in the touch-control electronics needing a specific sort of load.

Take a light from the lamp with you when you shop for new ones. Or buy the adapter that DuckieTigger mentioned.
Otherwise sounds like a wiring problem.
How old are these lamps?

Samsung is doing its best to become the Apple of the Droid world. Their devices have a very Apple feel about them.

So what is the very Apple feel? I would never buy an iThing but I like my phone and tablet. Samsung is very easy to root and doesn't lock the bootloader if you buy the correct model. I do hate that the sd card disappeared though, and hopefully it will be back.

I knew dimmers were a problem, so the ones we tried to replace didn't have dimmers but they were recessed. I can't remember if it was summer or not though, and the attic heat wouldn't be a problem in winter. I don't think insulation was added after construction, but since we didn't buy new I can't be sure. We also had our outdoor flood lights fail very quickly as well.

We went through two different brands for the kitchen replacements. The first only had about 10% to 20% of normal brightness when they were turned on. They didn't even start to increase brightness until nearly two minutes passed. Full brightness was after three minutes. The next ones were at full brightness after a few seconds, but they burned out after a few months.

Note on cheap dimmers. We recently had to replace our bedroom wall/ceiling lights. 2 strings of 50 white Christmas lights. We decided to go with led lights. The dimmer wouldn't turn them off completely.

Well since I just made ApK laugh, I guess I should explain. For a while we had a wrought iron canopy type bed. Because the overhead light is so bright, we strung white Christmas lights around the top.
When we took down the canopy and put in a different bed, we just put the lights around the edge of the room at ceiling height. Hope this helps.
