Booxtor can you post some videos of the Onyx Boox Max devce you have?

How is the browsing experience? Thats where I do most of my reading and I assume so do many others.... an eink optimized browsing that worls without distress on the reader is the selling point.

Reading posts on the pricing of the Boox Max is hard to understand. Old hardware used like i.mx6 with new screen and then rip off retail price will not fare better than Sony DPT-S1 did!

Learn your lesson, people who are willing to buy the device are a niche market at this point. They know the ereader market full well and understand it lacks innovation. Its especially poor in terms of value for money when compared to rampant tablet innovation.
Selling old hardware such as i.mx6 at Premium prices is just an insult to peoples intelligence - Innovation free devices at premium prices ....OK Eink/Onyx/Retailers I get what you are up to.

What is your suggestion about new hardware? Wait until new parts are available in 2017? It would be never ending story and we will be finally starve.
Concerning price. A couple of months ago the wholesale price of the screen (Mobius) alone was by USD650! We are working with minimal margins to keep project alive. What could we do more? Innovations do simply have their price. People are ready to spend USD800 for iPhones (also produced in China but in much bigger quantities) but are disturbed be the price of high level ereaders.

€585 is a damned good price for a device with a 13.3" screen - most assuredly not a "rip off". Why on earth do you consider it to be so?

You are totally right! Your suggestion can not be rejected. I don't deny the Boox Max is the best E-ink Reader in the market from its specs. I am using Boox M92 which give me much better experience than Kindle DX. If Onyx didn't release Max, I would have bought SONY. But I really hate Sony's close system. I am sure if the Boox Max+ released, the price will not higher than $800. I will get 2 with $1500 and enjoy the device earlier. In fact, as a journal reader, putting 2 papers side by side is very usual case. I agree with you and I will go for one! Booxter, you are talent sales!

Also don't forget that you can sell your Max when the Max+ comes out. People want different things, and I am sure someone will be happy to buy your lightly used Max with a 30% discount on the new price.

No wonder why Booxtor is very persuasive!

Honesty,professional approach to the customers,and above all,logically responsive manner made him successful in this matter.I am sure if Sony 13 inch device distributor in Europe was Booxtor,that would be on massive sale!

The Android App, Perfect View can do everything like this. Android will have all what you want. But not for Boox Max yet. Not capacitive screen yet. But M92 has very good 2 point zoom and physical button for turning page. Therefore it is not a big deal

What do you mean by "brightness and contrast control"? You can't control the brightness of an eInk screen because it's not illuminated. The contrast is an inherent part of the screen (how "black" the blacks are and how "white" the whites are) and also can't be changed.
