Hi guys! Can anybody help me? Yesterday I bought Kobo Glo HD. Today I connected to it via SSH using this and this instructions. Now I can connect to Kobo via WinSCP and copy files to it. But there is some problem. Yesterday I connected Kobo to my computer via USB, made a directory named /Books and put a book there. I can see and read that book, everything is OK. But after I copied some books to the same directory /mnt/onboard/Books via WinSCP today, Kobo refused to see them. Even after system restart. How can I force it to see the new books? |

The device will look for new sideloaded books when it is disconnected from the PC. There is some discussion in the forum about how to trigger this at other times. I can't remember if there was a good solution or not.

KOReader will also access calibre's content server wirelessly, using its OPDS support. You can also have KOReader wirelessly connected to calibre, as a device. Luck; Ken |

If I use calibre's content server to send ebooks to my H2O, am I correct that it would not be altered by any of the custom plugboards I've configured?

Yes and no. If you have a device specific metadata plugboard it won't be used. But, you can have a plugboard for the content server.
