Over and over and over and over in this thread it has been written to NOT factory reset after jail break. It's your fault for not reading it.

Since the bug that allowed the jailbreak to work on 5.6.5 was fixed in 5.7.2, this particular jailbreak can't be updated to work with it.

It's possible that someone will come up with a software jailbreak for 5.7.2, but there's no guarantee.

1. He was not banned, he was suspended

2. you can always access the forum and read all posts, if you are unregistered. If you are suspended, you can still read. You just cannot log in so you can't participate and post, but you can read.

That's because it's complete nonsense. Being suspended - or even permanently banned - does not prevent one from reading posts. One just can't post anything.

I suspected that was the case. So, he could read enough to download and do the jailbreak, but he couldn't read the many, many admonishments to not factory reset after JB.

Took me forever to get this to work. Had to use the server provided otherwise I wouldn't be able to access the "a" thingy.

I reseted the Kindle to factory settings and then I couldn't access "a" through the Kindle, only through other devices (Mac OSX and iPhone).

I had to turn on and off airplane mode and then I could access it.

works just fine on my Paperwhite 3 G090 G105 Brazilian Portuguese.

And btw, to avoid factory resetting hasn't been written in the last week. It is there since when the first jb has been released.
