put jb file in root of kindle
put kindlefere.com/jb/ in the browser address bar

I suggest you start here with KUAL:

The warning was a bit hard to understand - let me try again:

Visiting a web-site with @BD's java script code in the web pages is the 'trigger'.
The actual changes to the kindle is done by the script named jb in the Kindle root.

So any source of the 'trigger' should be alright -
It is the source of the 'jb' named script that you need to be certain of.

Hope that is more clear.

If you have been follow all of this, you probably noticed that the people who forgot to put the file named: jb in the root of USB storage only got a: "Unable to start ..." type of message.

Successfully jailbroke PW2 running v5.6.5, a 9017 device. Thanks a lot!
I used lywn123_'s website. Didn't do a factory reset - worked for me.

Updated to v5.7.2 after that - everything seems to be working fine; I re-applied the USB network hack and the rescue pack - other than that I'm using some KUAL extensions only.

A question: I have another PW2, jailbroken, running v5.4.5. If I want to update it to v5.7.2 do I have to apply the hotfix of the jailbreak (or maybe re-apply the bridge)?

Jailbreak successfully on my PW3 G090 G105 xxxx xxxx

I have blocked kindle internet access in my router, renamed my Win 7 PC to "a" and used a small webserver (tinyserver) to host the jb files.
After a kindle hard reset I´ve copied the file "jb" to kindle root and used the kindle browser to open "a" and followed the instructions.

I am thrilled to say this worked for me. Then install the jailbreak bridge, as mentioned on page 19 of this thread. I've got KUAL working, now to find the info on fonts that I saw yesterday in one of the stickies.
