I've successfully given a few credits but have not received any.

Zelda, I got a "we miss you" code email as well, but different code.

I have successfully played & received promo code for each day of the contest (Canada), but have not been successful in using them. I've tried to purchase several books I know are code eligible, and tried to apply several codes with no luck. I'm not even going to bother trying to get replacement codes from Kobo - it isn't worth the tremendous hassle & rigmarole they make you go through. I just deleted everything from my cart and closed the tab - though not before filling out their ridiculous contact form to inform them so.
What is the point of holding a contest & giving out promo codes that you don't allow your customers to use?

So far I've had no trouble playing the contest and getting the codes. In fact, at the very beginning of the contest I got my first 45% code -- highest I've ever gotten. I used that one, and a 35% and 30% code without problem.

I tested a 25% code on a book, and it would have been accepted if I had gone through with the purchase. But testing the code apparently counts as using it, since a subsequent test with that coupon failed. So, I'd be cautious about testing codes.

Hmmm...maybe that's it for me. I'll tell any further friends I recommend to be careful about entering KOBO through the link provided.

It's my own fault, but I lost a 75% code

I forgot to activate a cash back thing before checking out and then somehow, without even making the purchase, it counted the code as used.

But I guess getting 50% off every book I want is a fair compromise, lol.

Good news about the unlimited 50% code. I admit I've held off buying with lower codes in hopes that Kobo would do this again. I have not seen it mentioned anywhere but here, however, so I greatly appreciate the info.
