I do the TV thing also. Sometimes I'll start reading during a boring part of the show I'm watching and forget to look up and miss a critical plot point

That's a good idea. I have a stylus from a useless tablet. At least the stylus can be put to use now. And here I was spending time and money to find screen-friendly gloves.

I have been known to bump into things when walking without reading! I can only imagine the trouble I'd get into trying to read while walking.

I have one that I got with a cover at aliexpress. I almost prefer to have my hand inside a pocket and getting it out only to advance page.

Actually, the good thing about a media player for listening to audiobooks is if you get tired of listening to a book, you can switch to music.

Because I can read English but listening English and understanding a book is much harder, so reading is not a pleasure but an effort.
