Well, I took a look and they seem to have scrambled every file except the CSS files and the mimetype. Generally the container file and the opf file are clear text but not in this case. Nothing will be able to read this except the program it was specifically designed for. I tried forcing UTF-8 character set and this didn't help.

Probably why it was not being detected as an epub.

I've come across a few Android apps now that seem to have their own drm schemes or at least schemes that have not attracted sufficient attention from Hackers. An unfortunate trend.

Especially for vendors who wish to sell books to people like me, because like many people, I won't buy a book if I can't strip away the DRM. There's no sense in having books in your library if you can only read them as long as the original vendor is still in business and is still actively involved in their original encryption racket.

But I apologize for the aside, as it isn't helping barobach_so solve his present difficulty.
