Amazon Prime "No Rush Shipping" changes

That's good to hear. So I will have another £36 of credits to spend in February. I shall have to start making a list, as my Jan/Feb spend will have to last me until October!

That's what I've managed to accrue today too I assume the £3 credit will be on the next few days to take some pressure off the just-in-time-for-Xmas deliveries so I might add a bit to the tally yet...

My list is done and ready to be 1-clicked I have been very good with purchases this year, not only has my TBR pile actually decreased but most of the books I've bought were price drops and deals.

My dilemma is that some of the books on my wish list are the kind that could well find themselves thrown in the monthly deals at some point so pondering whether to get these with my credits by mid-February or not.

Why does your Jan/Feb spend have to last until October? This is free money so it doesn't count.

Depends how you account for it I have been treating the £3 digi credit as money off whatever it is that I'm buying. I then can't treat them as free money or I'd be accounting for it twice, so instead it's like I've bought myself a gift voucher to use on books (and therefore it must be spent wisely, meaning in a way that will maximise the number of books I'm getting )

I count it as both money off and free money! If you would have bought an item you are getting with slow shipping anyway, it's free money. I buy mostly stuff I use regularly and would buy regardless.

I try to ensure that most of the time I'm not buying things for the credits, although the credits may change the timing of purchases. I definitely count the credits as money spent on ebooks. And I sort of assume that it means I get prime for free. Which might be counting the money twice.

I may have got a couple of things this morning that weren't strictly absolutely necessary but aren't going to go to waste either... namely the 7" tablet sleeve (deal price £3.14 so 14p) and the 4m cat5e cable (deal price £2.79 so they paid me 21p to buy it) Overall I'm up 7p today

And some of the stuff I ordered yesterday has arrived - I like it when no-rush delivery is next day.

If I look at it that way I can quadruple count it! In addition to your three I am using my Chase Freedom Visa and I am getting 10% cash back on Amazon purchases made this month. I have been purchasing extra of things I use regularly to get the extra discounts. Top that!

Don't forget to count extra for the times you get more back in credits than what you spent Though that is actually free money.

I've never got more back than what I spent. That would be great but I think it would be difficult to find something under $2.

That's my view too, although the six orders I've placed today are all shipping today, with a delivery date of xmas eve , although I don't need anything before Christmas.
