Problems viewing Lounge Posts

Is it just because some of them are seriously large? If I click on many of them to view, I just get a blank white screen. It's a little strange. I know I've been gone a long time, but ... is this something new?

[Update: The problem is using Threaded or Hybrid view with long (>3,000) post threads. And there are several in the lounge. Switching to Linear View should allow the threads to be viewed.]

What browser - on what device - are you using to view the posts? Any browser add-ons?

I am trying this on a Mac with Safari, also with a PC and Google Chrome, as well as three iPads. All give me the same result, a white screen.

I meant to ask is it just the lounge or all of MR.

It seems to be just the Lounge, hence the title of the thread. I was able to read posts in the Apple devices forum, but nothing in the Lounge.

Yeah, I know ... gone way too long. However, it will be difficult getting back into the Lounge without actually being able to see any posts.

I sold all my Kindles, and have put everything on my iPads. The less I have to carry, the better, and sometimes I need to actually work (gasp). During the period that I moved back to California, I sort of lost track of some of the things I really enjoyed, like this place.

Anyway, I reconnected with Zeepie and Pshrynk on Facebook, and decided to wander back in here. Assuming I can ever read the damn posts, I'll try to stick around for awhile.

I get that. No one is having any problems except me. It's bizarre, but there must be a reason for it, right?

I've reported this to our Mod Team so we can look into it. Do you have any Ad Block or script blocking software installed?

No Ad Block or script blocking anywhere. It's the same story on every single device I own. Mac, PC, iPad, iPhone ... Everything is behaving the same way.
