The battery has been weaker for quite some time but doesn't seem any different since the charging light started blinking at the end of each charge session.

Ricky, Unfortunately, replacement batteries are not available for the PRS 950.

Ricky, I hadn't thought about a portable charger. I ordered one and hopefully it will work even when the battery is run down.
