Well, I'm pretty sure this world (the one I share with you and the rest of MobileRead) is the same.
Unlike the world of Captain Marvel, there are no aliens or superheroes, the laws of magic make sense, and the general populace is woefully ignorant of what goes on around them.

You can read about some of the things I and others of my order deal with, in the fictionalized works (details have been changed to protect names, and also to prevent imitation by the uninitiated, and just to make a slightly better story) of Jeremiah Tolbert and Rick Cook.
