I grabbed two of the $10 Moto Es. I'll be using them as MP3 players for music and audiobooks, and will not be activating the phones.

Yes, we got ours for a second "Kindle" and music too. We barely use the phone we have (landline or basic cell). I certainly don't need another one to use as a phone! We will be following your thread on the subject to get the most out of it. Thanks, Tubemonkey!!!

Changed my mind and got another Fire HD 6 for $50. Yellow and only 8 GB.

I love my Nokia 520. The Nokia 635 was on sale on Black Friday for $25, but I didn't see any reason to upgrade. I purchased an audiobook app called "Audiobooked" which lets me pin audiobook covers to the start screen, so the majority of my tiles are book covers

Glad it's working out for you. The Nokia 520 was just okay for me. Too many audiobook apps missing from the Windows store. As such, I quite using it for audiobooks and limited its use to music. Even then, missing in action was Prime Music. A major con for me. I'll be glad to pass it on.

The audio is great on the 520. That really surprised me when I first got it.

My 520 is collecting dust. It has battery issues. I was going to give it away as it's a Go phone but it doesn't work in the St Louis region.

My LG Volt is used almost daily to watch videos, listen to teachings and Audibles. I got my money's worth on it. Best purchase of 2014.

Plus I will see if MIL wants to trade it for the 2014 HD7 that I got her last spring. She might prefer the smaller size.
