It's easy! I've been making this for years, but there are many similar (or identical) versions on the web.
One 12 ounce bag of cranberries One 12 ounce bag of frozen raspberries One cup sugar One cup orange juice Dissolve the sugar in the orange juice and bring it to a simmer (I use an old 1.5 qt. Corning Visions brand covered pot). Add the cranberries and simmer until they "pop." (at this point I almost always have some "boil-over" -- it cleans up easily.) When most of the cranberries have opened add the raspberries. Stir them in, bring to a simmer, and you're done. Put them in a tupperware-like container and refrigerate. It takes about half an hour, but you do have to pay attention to it -- have I mentioned they tend to boil over? |
