Online sales should start Thu 12am ET based on their "shop online all day and all night" statement. That's midnight ET tonight.

Double check your account info since it's new to make sure there are no errors. Write down Best Buy's 1-800 #, your Best Buy login name and password; and keep your credit card in front of you. You never know if you'll get booted and then have to re-enter your login info. If the system goes down, you may have to complete the transaction by phone.

Thanks so much. I'm only after the phones from BB. I have to save the rest for Prime renewal I forgot about. My Birthday is Sunday so I am using it to pay for these things. I had to cancel all plans due to my bout with the flu so it will all work out. :-)

Anybody know if Best Buy online takes PayPal? I hate to enter a credit card to an account I am creating only for this! (2 small $10 phones, the same ones Blossom is looking at.)

Yes, they do accept PayPal: Best Buy Payment Options.

Tip for Best Buy online shoppers: If you want to buy a sale item and it indicates "sold out," keep trying every few hours. In years past, items marked "out of stock" would become available periodically throughout the day during these big sale events.

I think it means they are working on the price drop. Out of Stock usually says "Out of Stock"

I was assuming the Best Buy site wouldn't show BF pricing till the stores' 5 p.m. opening on Thanksgiving--is there any reason to think it will happen earlier?

It said most of the BF ad sale prices will be available on-line "All Day Thursday". To me, all day means 24 hours, but I guess not (at least so far

I just spoke with Best Buy. The lady was very friendly, but very uncooperative. She said that they would be in the stores when they open at 5:00, but that the company will not announce the times when sale items will go on sale online because they did that in the past and it crashed the system.

I just noticed the fine print on the first page of the Black Friday ad: one per customer. However, you could get one online, and go to a store too. Or go to two different stores (though their stock may be limited too). I'm also not seeing the price yes, despite it being midnight in the eastern time zone (but not midnight for me). Looks like I have to wait until midnight actually reaches *me*.

Oh, the fine print also says that they will not price match, so if one has bought it in advance, they have every right not to price match and refund the difference for you.

PSPS At the same time, this exact phone has a product review dated Nov 25, 2015 from someone who says they bought it for Black Friday this year .... and got it already. Hmmm. Wonder how they did that?? I guess NY had a PRE BF sale also, at $9.99, re-reading the review more carefully.
