What are your reading habits?

Comment what your reading habits are such as how much you read per session, where do you like to read, how long do you take to finish a book, etc.

Why don't you share your own details first? And ask for comments, instead of issuing an order?

What day of the week is it?
What am I in the mood for?
How busy am I with other things in life?
How much time do I have to read at the moment?
Too many variables.
Atlas Shrugged is going on 3 years read time.

You forgot to say "please". You can't just come here and start issuing orders; it's impolite.

I am retired and I read almost everyday. I am not a fast reader so it can take me a week to a month to finish a book. But I am always reading between 4 and 6 books at a time. I find that when I first start a book I will only read a chapter then put the book down. But once I have only about 30% of the book left to read I will read it until it is finished.
A lot of what I read is the Bible, and Bible studies.
I started reading the Tom Clancy Jack Ryan series about a year ago and finished the series and now I am reading the Jack Ryan Jr. series and only have 2 books left. And I also read the John Clark series, but most of his series is in the Jack Ryan series.

And once I finish a book I find that I need to take a break for a few days before starting another book.

Well, I usually start from the front, and read towards the back. I think this method provides the best story experience. I prefer black letters on a white background, though at night, when my wife is sleeping, I will go crazy and use white letters on a black background. I figure, what she doesn't know, won't hurt her. And as a native English speaker, I find books in English to be the easiest books to read.

Hope this helps.

THREE YEARS! They should change the name to "Atlas Is Shrugging"!

For me, Atlas Shrugged will take longer then I have left to live to read.

You will notice I said going on 3 years. I am 50% done so I expect the actual read time will be much longer.
My problem is way too much dialog and very little action.

Both. . . I also used to enjoy reading while driving but stopped after I wrecked my car for the second time.

I read mostly at night, Or outside in a lawn chair during the warmer months. I'll always start reading two different subject books at a time. So I alternate from one to the other depending on mood. I never know which one I'll finish first, but only will select another book when one is finished. I'll select a book after reading reviews or by someone I know who has read it and recommended it. I like to read series and random books and mix up my selections, so I always have something a little different to read.

I would drive off the road immediately. I do read when stopped at long traffic lights and for trains.

That would be illegal in the UK. You're required to be fully in control of your vehicle even when it's stationary.
