@kaufman and @iatheia: thanks for the comments. I am going to leave things as they are, at least for now. I find myself rather distracted at the moment (I live in Paris).

@chaley, that's true. Sorry for not asking. How are you? Are you friends and family OK? When I saw the images I remembered Madrid (2004).

Thanks for asking. No one I know was hurt. There have been so many attacks over the last years, and in reality this is just one more. We shouldn't be more angry about Paris than about Beirut on Thursday, about the Boko Haram atrocities that happen with such sad regularity, or the multitude of others. However, it is difficult to maintain perspective when 19 people were killed in a restaurant 3 bus stops from my apartment, 100 meters from my doctor's office. That restaurant was a favorite of young people of all colors and backgrounds. Frequently when I walked by I would hear happy voices, laughing with pleasure about something. I have to ask: why anyone, but in particular why them? |

I don't know if this is a new bug or an old one.
When I click on an ID link in a book details page, it works correctly for amazon and google links, but brings me to a blank page for goodread links. |

![]() It has never worked. From day 1 I had a typo in the prototype URL where two colons were used instead of one (http:://www.goodreads.com/ ...). On my test device tapping a goodreads link goes to google search. Thanks for reporting it. ![]() |

Are you sure its been broken since the beginning. I use those links a fair amount, and I can't believe I've only ever done the google and amazon ones.
I asked for that feature, and I find it hard to believe I've never used it. Or tested it when you implemented it. |

As for testing: I hadn't installed the goodreads plugin before today so I never tested that one. In fact I haven't tested most of the identifier types. ![]() FWIW: here is the complete list of clickable identifiers that CC understands, along with the prototype URLs. This list is from today so the goodreads double-colon error is fixed. Code:
urlStrings.put("amazon", "http://amzn.com/%s"); urlStrings.put("asin", "http://amzn.com/%s"); urlStrings.put("amazon_fr", "http://www.amazon.fr/dp/%s"); urlStrings.put("amazon_de", "http://www.amazon.de/dp/%s"); urlStrings.put("amazon_uk", "http://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/%s"); urlStrings.put("amazon_it", "http://www.amazon.it/dp/%s"); urlStrings.put("amazon_jp", "http://www.amazon.jp/dp/%s"); urlStrings.put("amazon_es", "http://www.amazon.es/dp/%s"); urlStrings.put("amazon_br", "http://www.amazon.com.br/dp/%s"); urlStrings.put("goodreads", "http://www.goodreads.com/book/show/%s"); urlStrings.put("isbn", "http://www.worldcat.org/isbn/%s"); urlStrings.put("doi", "http://dx.doi.org/%s"); urlStrings.put("arxiv", "http://arxiv.org/abs/%s"); urlStrings.put("oclc", "http://www.worldcat.org/oclc/%s"); urlStrings.put("google", "http://books.google.com/books?id=%s"); urlStrings.put("barnesnoble", "http://www.barnesandnoble.com/%s"); |

I have an issue with the beta.
My sort for ungrouped is date (calibre) . If I exit the program with some other grouping applied and some other sort and then restart the program, it shows the u grouped list with the old sort. I think it should either save both the sort and the grouping, or neither. |
