I've received 2 emails confirming the refund (but no refund, yet), so yes if I was you, I would contact them about the matter.

I bought a white Mini from Family Christian about a year ago - no problems with the purchase and the unit has worked well, battery included.

Read their website carefully. The black Mini and many other items are marked 'in store only.' You will have to get lucky to find them still in stock anywhere. Best to call your local store first.

However, the website still lists the white Mini as available for $59.99, though I don't see the 40% off sale. If it really is 40% off then you could get a Mini for $36, which would be well worth it.

It was a Veteran's Day Sale, one day only. However, they do seem to run a similar discount frequently, so I would guess it'll crop up again.

I got the refund the other day on Paypal. I got the mini today. Glad it was free ... the non-pearl screen is quite a drag.

I got my refund, and I expect to receive the gray sleep cover soon. Yippee! I'd forgotten how much I love the size of the Mini.

Same here. The refund came quickly after it was promised. They offered the grey sleepcover, which is what pushed me into buying the bundle to begin with. Kobo went above and beyond by also offering the sleepcover after giving full refunds and letting us keep the Mini. I love the smaller size of the Mini and wish they would update it with a newer screen and possibly a frontlight.

Me, too, a lighted one would be the best! I really love the soft touch back cover, but the gray sleep cover will be nice to use with an attachable light.

I've put an 8 GB internal card in my Mini.

I did a chat with customer service today. They said they didn't know anything abt a refund. I asked when my Kobo Mini would be sent out. They didn't know that either.

They said that they will escalate my enquiry to the next level.

I'm really sorry I missed out on the sale -- I'd be perfectly happy with new-old stock, and I would actually prefer the silicone cover to the sleep cover.

If there is any difference between the screen of the Mini and the original Glo (other than size) I can't see it. Mini is perfectly readable and perfectly pocketable. I can't believe no one is making smaller ereaders...

I carry my Mini with me every time I leave the house, and what I do is, I turn the silicone cover around BACKWARDS to cover the screen and then tuck it in my shirt pocket (Mini fit test has become a required feature of shirt shopping.)

If anyone who now has a free Mini wants to sell and actually make a profit, let me know. I'd pay the $57 you spent and be thrilled!

Or if anyone just wants to sell the silicone case, PM me and we'll talk. I figure my case will tear someday as I constantly take it on and off, and I wouldn't mind having a few spares...

I would have ordered from Family Christian Store on Veteran's Day (and Semper Fi to any of my fellows on here) had I known they still had stock. I might break down and buy a couple at $60! I love the Mini, and I'm worried that no one seems inclined to produce a pocket sized ereader again. Six inch is too big to carry around!

I am cautiously optomistic that we might soon see a variety of open ereaders available from NTX, the Netronix/Eink merged company. A little more choice would be good!

When I had silicone cover I cut steel galvalume (stiff roofing metal) to fit inside front edge of silicone cover. I ground off sharp edge from galvalume and taped edge with plastic electrical tape. I slip this under edge of silicone cover to protect screen of installed ereader.
