Will give it a try, along with 2 oz of Frozen Summit Oolong. Now, if they can manage to get it here promptly, I could even take it home with me. (I _do_ wish they supported PayPal purchasing. I hate leaving my cc information on anyone's site. )

Now, back to some loose pu erh from the same Asian market. The taste reminds me of campfires. Nice for an autumn afternoon on the deck. The third mug is waiting. |

The description of Frozen Summit sounded like my kind of Oolong. It's a bit pricey, but good Oolong is.
Meanwhile, I'm drinking some local, canned, sparkling water. |

I drink their Blue Springs Oolong, Milk Oolong, Frozen Summit Oolong, Wuyi Shan Red Cape Oolong, and Wuyi Shan Ti Kwan Yin Oolong. I get my Pu erh, both black and green, Touchas from them as well as the Senchas.
I like the quality of the tea and that it is a small independent store instead of an international conglomerate. It makes me feel good to support a local store even if it is in a totally different town. I also find that the independent tea stores have a better variety of unusual teas then the larger stores. The other store I am using fairly frequently is the macha Tea Company. http://www.machateacompany.com/#!black/cn96 They have a nice collection of Pu Erhs and their blacks are pretty good. |

I have one good local tea company, but they're rather weak on Oolongs and green. And I used to get a lot of my tea from Peet's. They're big, but not like Starbucks. But now Peet's has basically abandoned their tea business by combining with Mighty Leaf, so I'm not at all sure I will get much from them going forward.
Drinking more MSEC. |

For the first time in years we switched off our lights and didn't display any lit pumpkins in the windows or outside. All of our 3 girls were out at Halloween parties, and we felt that without them it was a bit pointless. We still got one bunch of trick-or-treaters calling at the house, and fortunately I had the foresight to prepare a tub of sweets, so it went off okay

Drinking water. I simply couldn't face any more MSEC today. It's not even very good as a caffeine delivery system. ![]() |

I never go anywhere without a clutch of Starbucks Via packets in my purse. Is it the same as good brewed coffee? Of course not. But it's way ahead of conference/diner/road etc. coffee and one almost always can get a cup of hot water. Again, not ideal, but decent when you're desperate.

Drinking some Keemun right now.
So far Mike and Ikes are leading the candy wars in the house. They have been determined to be better then Skittles, Nestle Crunch bars, Lollipop, and Twizzler. They have also been selected two nights in a row and over M&Ms, which was a surprise because M&Ms have been the go to candy for ages. LM even choose M&Ms as a candy to distribute this year. |
