Wall charger? PC, usb port? USB-2 or USB-3? What measure are you using to tell if it was full? Quote:

Sounds reasonable, except it sounds like your running Windows.
Which is a known source of troubles. Also - you may be trying to use the wrong fastboot. = = = = You can avoid both of those sources of trouble if you run Kubrick. If the Wizard does not work for you, you can use the command line. Just boot your PC with the LiveCd - do not try to run it in a VM. I think the escape to the command line is F5 - but if not, the correct function key was posted here recently. The Kubrick CD has all of the 'known good' tools included on it. |

hi
the truth is i don't know what to do. i tried with kubrick wizard but the kindle don't go to fastboot mode. then i tried entering command line with F5 but i have a number of options that i don't know what to do. there is an option: modprobe=<module list> : force module to load, i'm not sure it's for loading img to kindle but in that case, where is the image to load? any idea? thanks |

Including the correct version of fastboot. If not familar with how to manually un-brick a Kindle, try the directions from the pre-Kubrick days. https://www.mobileread.com/forums/sho...d.php?t=170929 = = = = See the 'sticky' thread above with the "Where do I start?" in the title? Read that one. Everything I have told you could be reached by reading that thread and the threads that it links to. |
